Description:

Tenebrio Gold Complete is a complete nutritional bedding and feed system for mealworms, built on Larval Core™, Arca Vitae’s substrate-based nutritional system for larval feeders. Mealworms do not interact with diet the way roaches or crickets do. Their food is also their bedding, their contact surface, and their long-term nutritional environment. They live in it, move through it, consume it continuously, and accumulate nutrition through repeated exposure over time.


That biology is the reason Tenebrio Gold Complete exists. It supports steady feeding, growth, molt progression, fat-body development, mineral access, digestive stability, and tissue-level nutrient retention. Rather than treating mealworms as empty filler or relying on short-term and potentially unreliable surface feeding, Tenebrio Gold Complete turns the substrate itself into a controlled nutritional environment.


Within that Larval Core™ structure, Tenebrio Gold Complete also includes a defined chromatic substrate component, delivering selected natural pigment-supporting compounds through the same continuous feeding pathway. It is a complete larval system designed for mealworms as living feeder organisms.

How to Use:

Use as the primary bedding and dry feed substrate. Add mealworms directly into the prepared substrate. Provide appropriate moisture foods separately. Replace when depleted, contaminated, overly dusty, damp, or heavily converted into waste.
