Arca Vitae

Functional Nutrition for Feeders

Home The System Diets Information

Core System: Nutrient Core™

Feed Type: Routine colony diet

Use Pattern: Long-term maintenance feeding

Designed For: Dubia roaches and works for  discoid, ivory, lobster, red runners and other common feeder roach colonies. Roach Gold Prime works for many roaches that are not exclusive detritus decomposers including, but not limited to, harlequin, horseshoe, most hisser species, emeralds, and others.

Description:

Roach Gold Prime is the foundational dry diet for feeder roach colonies, built on Nutrient Core™, our proprietary micronutrient and phytonutrient system. Prime is designed to support steady feeding response, digestive function, mineral access, tissue condition, reproduction, and colony stability in feeder roaches.

Roaches are not just containers for gut content. They are living feeder organisms with their own metabolism, digestive tract, fat-body reserves, reproductive demands, and tissue-building requirements. Roach Gold Prime supports the feeder first, so the predator receives a prey animal built from a more controlled nutritional foundation.

Within that foundation, Roach Gold Prime also reflects Arca Vitae’s chromatophore-aware design philosophy. It includes nutritional architecture that supports the broader prey-to-predator pathway, including natural substrates included for tissue quality, antioxidant support, and genetically available coloration systems in predators.

Best Used For:

Routine roach colony feeding, breeder colony maintenance, feeder production, retail feeder support, and long-term prey-quality control.

How to Use:

Keep available as the primary dry diet. Provide clean hydration separately using the method appropriate for the species and enclosure. Replace food if it becomes contaminated, damp, stale, or mixed heavily with frass.

Roach Gold Prime

For keepers who want their roaches to be more than alive, Roach Gold Prime provides the nutritional foundation behind stable, functional feeder production.
